Scope of Application This product is an oil soluble magnesium compound, which is an excellent additive preventing corrosion of the gas turbine blades by vanadium and sodium compounds at high temperature. It can prevent corrosion, reduce scaling, and make the scale loose and removable. It is mainly used in heating furnaces, boilers, gas turbines and other equipment using heavy oil fuel. Method for Use (1) Typical consumption of the product is 0.02% 0.1% of the fuel oil, and actual consumption can be determined according to the contents of sulfur, vanadium and other harmful substances in the fuel oil. For control of vanadium corrosion, the suggested magnesium vanadium ratio is 3:1. (2) The product features excellent fluidity, it can be mixed with fuel oil at any proportion, and it can be continuously added to the fuel oil in proportion with a metering pump (or directly charged into the fuel oil tank), and through the circulating flow, it can be sufficiently mixed with the fuel oil. Precautions This product should stay away from water. Do not charge the product in rainy weather. Once the packing is opened, the product must be charged immediately, and shall not be exposed to atmosphere for a long time. Preferably, it shall be stored in warehouses provided with ventilation and fire fighting facilities.
